Review scorecard builder

Pick a role family and level and get a short performance review scorecard: five criteria, each with behavioural anchors for every rating from Poor to Exceptional. Edit any line, then print it or save it as a PDF.

Runs in your browser. Nothing is stored or sent, so save the PDF before you leave the page.

Click any text on the scorecard to edit it. Keep between 4 and 6 criteria (now 5).

In the print window, choose “Save as PDF” as the destination. The scorecard prints on A4 landscape without the site header, footer or buttons.

A starting point, not a finished framework

  • Five criteria: three for the role family, plus ownership and delivery, and collaboration (or leading and developing people for managers).
  • The 1–5 scale uses the same labels as the hub’s rating scales guide: Poor, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Exceptional.
  • The level changes the scope each anchor talks about, from someone’s own tasks to the team’s work.
  • Edit before you use it. Swap in the language your teams already use and check the anchors with a few managers first.

Need the whole review form, not just the scorecard? Use the performance review template. To see how scorecards help managers rate consistently, try the calibration simulator, or check your whole process with the performance review diagnostics.
